About MOSAIC
Welcome to Mosaic HK
Mosaic is an a cappella group based in the University of Hong Kong (HKU). Established in July 2006, Mosaic is the first collegiate a cappella group in HK to organize large-scale concert and has been very active in the Hong Kong choral scene, staging numerous performances both on and off campus.
Mosaic had her first annual charity concert at HKU in 2007. In January 2009, Mosaic held her second full-house concert "Tribute to the TV Box" at Sheung Wan Civic Centre. Internationally, Mosaic also made her debut international performance in the 2008 International Contemporary A Cappella Festival in Taipei.
The name 'Mosaic' was chosen to capture the very nature of the group; it resembles a picture made up of colored pieces of diversity. Mosaic gathers people who take pleasure in singing, people of different faculties and levels, all carrying with them their uniqueness, their passion for singing, their fantasies of making alive colorful, spirited pieces of music.
